It's almost as if he may not have actually known the full picture of what had really happened when his dad parted ways with CCH. I remember being told once that it's really tough to keep singing a song once you realize you don't know all the right words to it.

Ya know what, I don't really care to hear whatever explanation anyone tries to make for that though. This is what Cincinnati Cobra & Oracle don’t understand. Honestly embarrassing for both. 
 

What people got from this situation is the awareness of the principles these decision makers lack. All anyone wanted was accountability & to make a statement just like you did on social media congratulating their family. 
 

If it was the bishop we know now he can make a decision on such a small details like the schools Hall Of Fame. What next decision will he make if he’s willing to do this? 
 

Regardless if it was the bishop or not. You have people in power telling the Ruthsatz family to lie about the situation. On top of trying to have them not speak out & saying if they will they could lose their jobs.

CCH staff certainly didn’t think this one through & everyone in NKY is all watching.

I was referencing the fact that there were 2-3 posts made that were deleted the same day. Also, if "stories" last 24 hours, he outdid himself by about a week.

This is the one I thought was deleted but see now it’s on the pinned reel. It’s possible he didn’t delete, but I could’ve sworn 1 or 2 were taken down.

What strikes me as odd is the number of people on here that think that the administration and/or Diocese owes the public an explanation.  It's a private school.  They aren't required to do or say anything.  Will it hurt them financially... doubtful.  The large majority of students there don't attend because of athletics or who the principal or AD is.  This is far more important to the gossipers on this site than it is to the general public.  I was shocked to see this thread still going.  You won't see anything about it on the local news that's for sure.  The news cycle has moved on.

If you put something out there celebrating someone to the world then take that back & act like nothing happened, Imo pretty normal people would be upset. Doesn’t matter what school or corporation you are.  If you stand for transparency, honesty & integrity when selling your school but don’t display it in times like this it surely makes parents like myself second guess things.

Was surprised this thread was still going as well.

Let’s remember this isn’t some normal family they have 7 kids. All played many sports & are intertwined in the community. Also have a current 8th grader that will now not be attending CCH. From talking to people at different schools over the last few weeks let me tell you everybody knows about this & has questions. If it were 15 years ago then local news would make a difference but let alone 33,000 views on this thread on BGP… that's not counting the 100,000+ views on Facebook & Instagram.

To add some comedy to the saga we were at the game against Centerville. Last saturday the Dan Tieman classic. Event run by Covington Catholic staff. The PA begins to speak about Tieman and the many great things he did there. But right at the start he adds in  “Coach Tieman is the all time winningest coach at Covington Catholic.” 

Note: Scott Ruthsatz is at the game LOL

Immediately myself & half the spectators in the gym look at him confused. Few moments later the PA gets back on microphone & says “Correction Scott Ruthsatz is the winningest coach.” LOL

Did they do it on purpose? No imo it was just a mistake but this certainly doesn’t help people forget & questioning things.

So essentially here,

 

1. CCH publicly Announces Scott and Nick Ruthsatz into HOF

2. CCH privately tells Ruthsatz family that Scott is not to attend or be inducted, and instructs them to stay quiet or tell mistruths about it

3. Nick Ruthsatz privately calls them out for it

4. CCH privately points finger at the diocese

5. Nick Ruthsatz publicly explains the injustice done to Scott

 

For #2 to occur, seems to me like they've covered up these types of decisions with public lies before.

 

CCH and/or diocese IMO look really bad here. What the Ruthsatz family has done for CCH (that includes those who benefit from salary increase directly/indirectly tied to Basketball program success), for basketball in the 9th Region, and for the NKY Basketball community as a whole is significant. Fully understand that CCH / the diocese are 'big business' level entities in this community/region, but hard to deny the Ruthsatz family helped them raise their profile. 

Also, what in the world is this video criticizing high school broadcasters?  Apparently, you have to be a high-level coach and win a ton of games to volunteer your time to cover student-athletes for your school.  So what if they give their opinion?  Has he heard student broadcasts?  They do the same thing, and some are just awful.
