This is who the diocese sided with… Almost like they’ve used we “were bullied & pressured” before LOL

You point out lack of transparency of the church. Their family calls them out asking for clarity on their decision. Now it’s the families fault because they should assume the church will do the unjust thing… what world do you live in? The point you obviously don’t get is because the hall of fame is such a small thing & the diocese was STILL pressured… prompting to make the decision to not let him in 9 days away. Pressured on a HOF. Whats next? Nick Sandmann doesn’t comment on the diocese/ school for many years & comes out saying this. Then you add in “I’m Catholic” to try to add an ounce of credibility. The people reading this can read the energy this comment above has in it. Like the type of person who is afraid to stand up for themselves. You would rather be a pawn & be quiet because the catholic church told you too.

Why should they give their opinion about players playing time when they don’t attend practice everyday? Then add in never coached? Does it help the listeners? Or make the host feel good about himself? that's what comes to my mind. I know Covcath had similar problems in the past with Mark Wehry from his facebook post. He started his own kudos to him. Part of it makes me think these Broadcasters Giving opinions not because they believe what they are saying but their buddies with their parents. They wanna be invited to the “party” after the game. Yes students give their opinion but from listening to almost every broadcast locally they are far more fun & genuine. posted it online do you think really cares if people see him walking down the street talking about this….

If you put something out there celebrating someone to the world then take that back & act like nothing happened, Imo pretty normal people would be upset. Doesn’t matter what school or corporation you are. If you stand for transparency, honesty & integrity when selling your school but don’t display it in times like this it surely makes parents like myself second guess things. Was surprised this thread was still going as well. Let’s remember this isn’t some normal family they have 7 kids. All played many sports & are intertwined in the community. Also have a current 8th grader that will now not be attending CCH. From talking to people at different schools over the last few weeks let me tell you everybody knows about this & has questions. If it were 15 years ago then local news would make a difference but let alone 33,000 views on this thread on BGP… that's not counting the 100,000+ views on Facebook & Instagram. To add some comedy to the saga we were at the game against Centerville. Last saturday the Dan Tieman classic. Event run by Covington Catholic staff. The PA begins to speak about Tieman and the many great things he did there. But right at the start he adds in “Coach Tieman is the all time winningest coach at Covington Catholic.” Note: Scott Ruthsatz is at the game LOL Immediately myself & half the spectators in the gym look at him confused. Few moments later the PA gets back on microphone & says “Correction Scott Ruthsatz is the winningest coach.” LOL Did they do it on purpose? No imo it was just a mistake but this certainly doesn’t help people forget & questioning things.

Sick. CCH will bounce back tough to play without your leading scorer. He opens up the rest of the team with how teams have to defend him. Campbell guards played really well on both ends of the floor. Only 3 made three pointers for CCH doesn’t help. Great preparation for the regional. Playing at Campbell is always a battle. Great atmosphere with 2 teams that get after it.

This is what Cincinnati Cobra & Oracle don’t understand. Honestly embarrassing for both. What people got from this situation is the awareness of the principles these decision makers lack. All anyone wanted was accountability & to make a statement just like you did on social media congratulating their family. If it was the bishop we know now he can make a decision on such a small details like the schools Hall Of Fame. What next decision will he make if he’s willing to do this? Regardless if it was the bishop or not. You have people in power telling the Ruthsatz family to lie about the situation. On top of trying to have them not speak out & saying if they will they could lose their jobs. CCH staff certainly didn’t think this one through & everyone in NKY is all watching.
