I think this will be an attractive job. I know in regards to football I have always said that Louisville isn’t a job a coach would stay at if bigger schools came calling. However, it is the opposite for basketball. I do think there are many coaches at good schools right now, that would be interested in the Louisville job. Louisville is definitely a job a Drew, Mussleman, Pearl, and even a Donovan would consider IMO. Louisville basketball is a job people don’t leave if they are successful.

Absolutely. Just not sure how attainable he really is. 

There’s been reports that Louisville has been talking with his people since December. IF that’s true and we still haven’t heard he’s said no, that’s a good thing. 

Still, I think he’s a long shot, until he’s not. ??‍♂️

All different, all good coaches. I'm not sure there is a home run hire out there this cycle but I do think any of these four would be an excellent choice for Louisville and would succeed sooner than later.

If I’m Louisville, I’m not touching Dusty May. He took a final 4 team last year but the same team struggled this year. 
 

Plus he will be off to IU as soon as that job opens.

Drew would be a "home run," but I also think Mick could really do well here. 

A lot of people don't want him, but if it's not Scott Drew, I think I'd give Mick a shot if I were making the decision.

This is why some around here don't want May, but he wouldn't leave Louisville for IU.

I'd take him 100x over some largely unproven mid-major coach. 

Would UL go after Sean Miller? Pat Kelsey is the mid-major that came to my mind, but he's only been mentioned once here.

I've read Dusty May's name in association with the opening at Ohio State as well.

It's absolutely part of the compensation package, just like getting paid for coaches radio shows.

I don't care who they hire, but I have never been a Cronin fan.
