Kenny had to clean up a lot of scum that the next coach will get credit for. Louisville is a dumpster fire and half of the Louisville fans are trash. 

I am happy to stay at Baylor for less money and a better program.

I’m glad Dusty May went to Michigan, didn’t really want him at Louisville.

Is May going to Michigan strike two for Josh Heird (sp)?   I don't know how hard UL really pursued these two, if at all.   I still think the UL job was, and soon can be again, a top 10 job in the country.   But UL needs to be quick on its feet with conference re-alignments, NIL, etc

That doesn't feel like a murderers row of replacement candidates.  I would definitely prefer Holloway of the 3 though. 

Low key drive for Will Wade on Twitter tonight. I don't think Louisville is that far down the list yet to go after Wade.

Whoever gets the gig they are starting from absolute scratch.   I haven't heard anything on Huntley-Hatfield, but everyone else has abandoned ship and entered the portal.    They're leaving and taking their 12 wins with them.

What I like about Shaheen Holloway is how tough his teams are. They were a bubble team this year and didn't make it. He made a couple comments after the selection show about Seton Hall not getting picked, but then they've rolled through two rounds of the NIT (when teams who feel they were shafted often just pack it in). That tells me he has control and respect with the players.

He is a Seton Hall alum and a New Jersey guy, but certainly Louisville could offer him money that Seton Hall likely couldn't match. He wouldn't be a bad option.

Louisville basketball coaching search continues: 8 names to watch with Drew, May off board - Yahoo Sports

On Tuesday, a couple of new names popped up on the Louisville basketball head coaching search: Richard Pitino of New Mexico and Pat Kelsey of Charleston, per Mike Hughes of Cardinal Confidential.

“An industry source, extremely familiar with Louisville’s now two-week search for Kenny Payne’s replacement, told Cardinal Confidential Tuesday morning that New Mexico coach Richard Pitino and Charleston coach Pat Kelsey are the two leading contenders to become the Cards next basketball coach.”
