I’d be shocked if Cronin, Dixon, Drew, Mussleman, & Oats are feasible options.

Why?

Drew is using it for a raise IMO. Depends what they are wanting after him. I know this has been a rough year but Musselman would be my #2. He will recruit well and pump a huge shot of energy needed into their program. Cronin would crawl from LA to UL for the job. 

I've heard that they can get around Cronin's buyout due to loophole in contract since they are changing conferences so would make him a candidate and he would go to Louisville because coached there as assistant plus is into horses.

Very well could be true about Drew, but Louisville can double his salary and it would be an upgrade in every way possible. His longevity at Baylor is the sticking point, IMO.

My Alma mater, Mulkey left after over 20 years at Baylor but I’d hate to lose Drew but he may be looking for a new challenge as he resurrected the Baylor program from beyond the grave!

Schools use Shoe, Marketing and local broadcast rights money to pay coaches the majority of their salary.

Yeah.  Louisville would be heaven compared to what he walked into in Waco.

Can the school include that money as part of the compensation package when negotiating? I guess they can. Nothing against NCAA rules to openly include that money?
