Anyone have penalty stats?  Following the game thread it seemed like those numbers must have been massive.

Not sure exactly how many penalties, but I do recall the video commentators saying that PT had over 100 yards in penalties midway through the 4th quarter. 

How bad is No 4 Carter’s injury?

100% agree. In years past it almost seems as if after they lose to Mayfield they just don’t care as much or take weeks off. Last year for example, they did play two good teams after they played Mayfield but I feel like those games should’ve been closer than they were and then they lost to Hoptown which definitely should not have happened. Then when they got to the playoffs and their backs were against the wall they turned it back on and went toe to toe with the eventual undefeated state champion CAL that won all their other 14 games by 35 or more. I root for Tilghman every game except once a year haha but that games over with. Now go get em and make West KY proud.
 

I think most all of us in West Kentucky can get on board with that. Outside these rivalry games, I think once these games end, we all root for each other the rest of the way, I know I have my whole life. Even though it's just geography as a common denominator, it's enough. We're ultimately on the same team at the end of it all. 

Stopping Mayfield at the goal line couple times in the 4th quarter was unreal, I'd say they score 11 out of 10 times when that close.

Just a side note, I was there and the Gofan ticket debacle in the reserved black chair seats is handled poorly, was told sit anywhere had to move to our seats finally and someone had to be moved from them. Concessions were unprepared for a big crowd. 

Congratulations PT I know the fans have to be thrilled to end the streak I imagine it’s kind of like when Kentucky ended the Florida streak for these fans.

Congrats to PT and Mayfield, it was a wonderful game to watch, albeit the excessive amount penalties. 

 I also want to give props to the defense of PT, those guys swarm the football and get after you, and mean business when they hit you. 
 

Mayfield is also a title worthy team, they answered the bell every time, but came up just a bit short in a great ball game. I could see both of these teams winning state titles.

I was told by the Mayfield statistician that PT had 182 yards in penalties and he can’t remember more and he’s done this for over 40 years.

There were some odd calls sure. The 10 min delay after the onside was ridiculous but most of the calls in the game were reasonable to me. 

I just wanted to add that I thought the facilities upgrade at PT was fantastic! Great place to watch some high caliber high school football. The whole experience last night was top notch, except for Rick Dees running the PA. Really? PT has a fine program, and they certainly don't need a disc jockey complete with the comical sound effects buttons. Nothing against the guy doing it because he was passionately doing his job. I, personally, thought it did not belong in a big time football game.

Playing the song "you really got me" everytime we had the ball was bush league. The players couldn't hear the QB.

There shouldn’t be any artificial noise once the ready for play is blown. The band is fine. That is bush league and on the officials to shut it down right away.
