I totally agree we all watched the same game and we know EXACTLY why Mayfield lost way to obvious.. Please don't take away what the PT players and coaches done on the field and what Mayfield coaches and players didn't do...it is truly over on to the next game for both teams n see each other next year...

Absolutely a no no. PA announcers are not supposed to cheerlead.

Is there such a thing as a salty winner? I see nothing wrong with commenting on the game and where things went awry. That doesn't take away from PT winning. I think the Mayfield fans have been very gracious in defeat.

I agree that Mayfield fans have been gracious in defeat except 1 who is blaming loud music on offense not being able to hear quarterback and affecting the no huddle offense.I haven’t gloated one time about Paducah’s victory just replied to some nonsense about the loud music possibly affecting the outcome.I was there and didn’t pay any attention to it nor did I hear it.Went back and watched replay on Red Helmet video and couldn’t hear it or the two guys calling the game mention it.

Nobody and I mean nobody has said it affected the outcome of the game. Just that you shouldn't do it it. got it.

Is he blaming the outcome on loud music?

I do know that at other schools the PA does the same thing trying to get the crowd into the game or on a 3rd down play.I think he was talking about loud music supposedly being played when Mayfield had the ball.

I also know that the same person questioned the legitimacy of a certain Tilghman player getting a D1 offer by saying that is laughable.

I'm thrilled for the PT crowd around here... @TilghmanPride, @Category_F5, @PTHSalumni, @BigBlue92 and any others I've missed.

The streak is no longer an albatross around the neck of Tilghman football. No longer a talking point every year.

At the risk of sounding too dramatic, it's almost a rebirth of sorts for the Tornado. It can't define them now. 

No one's going to feel pity for Mayfield. They were fine before, they're fine now, and they'll be fine in November. If they can survive a literal tornado, they can survive losing a football game to a figurative one. 

Can't wait to see where this rivalry goes from here.

Is that a Rule or an Unwritten Rule?

I ask because every high school or college game that I can remember ever attending the PA guy would tell the crowd to "Make some noise" or "Get up on your feet" or make some other statement accentuating a big play by the home team at crucial times in the game.
