I love the trash talking.  From all sides.  I wasn’t mad when Caitlin did it and I’m not mad at Angel when she does it. It’s just part of the game when it comes to competitive sports.  Even more so at that level.

I work in a factory where people talk trash to each other about their quality of work.

Far as I can tell talking trash is a part of society.

Saturday Night I was beer vending the FC soccer match. As we were leaving the Manager asked me how it was today, "Great". She goes, "Really, the others didn't say that". "Well you probably asked guys that aren't as good as me". Just comes so naturally lol.

Folks had a problem with that because he was doing it to Brady.

I LOVED it!!!

Sad part is that everyone is so caught up with this garbage that they are losing sight of what this tourney and those final 4 teams did for women's college basketball.  Viewership was at record levels and all people want to talk about is who disrespected who.   It's a shame.

The final 4 definitely got me interested in women's college basketball.

I got no problem with what Clark did. I also got no problem with what Reese did.

I didn't even watch that game. But due to all this pub I had to give it my time.

If Clark doesn't want that heat, then don't act like that. Most competitors will respect competitors who just play and let the game speak for them. She put it out there and she got it back.

I was always a very vocal teammate, but I almost never gave opponents the satisfaction of a response. Maybe she's one of those people who gets off on that, but to me if you do it... be ready to get it back.

I got no heat on Reese.

They might be losing sight on the talent and how good the games where, but people are talking about women's basketball more than ever in the history of the sport.

If I'm the NCAA, I do anything possible to make Iowa and LSU play in the regular season next year.

I keep seeing a lot of people say things similar to this. I'd say Clarke handled it being throw back at her just fine. She didn't and hasn't responded to Reese in any fashion from what I've seen.

TV dollars will make it happen. I think several LSU portal players have used up their eligibility. If they haven't they will get even more NIL money and hang around.

I'm not sure Clark had any issue with it all.

Lord have mercy. If people are getting outraged about this stuff, thank God we do not have players miked up during games.

I don't like trash talk at all (unless directed at North Carolina players), but it happens.  The Iowa player did it.  It shouldn't be surprising when it's done back to her.

Yeah, not really commenting on her response necessarily, more so the response from everyone else who took issue with Reese.

So women don't trash talk, what rock have you guys been living under?

Talking Trash happens all the time in every game.  Anyone who thinks Angel Reese was saying that Caitlin Clark is not that good has clearly not followed the season.  Even Sunday, Clark was the best player on the floor.   LSU was the better team and the final score indicated that.
