Final. Kim Mulkey wins here her 4th national championship, and this is LSU's first in program history.

The outrage towards Angel Reese is sad and predictable.

I don’t recall anyone riding to HVL’s defense when Clark did it to her, that’s for sure.

In general, I don’t pay attention to women’s basketball. But I will say in general, I was stunned by the amount of trash talking. I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t realize it was that prevalent.

I think it's prevalent in athletics in general.

This and it is sad.

Brian Kelly, you are now on the clock. Good luck with that.

Caitlyn Clark doing it for 2 seconds and Angel Reese following her around the last ten seconds of the game aren’t too comparable IMO. I have no problem with either side talking trash, but I don’t think the two cases are the same.

Caitlin Clark talked trash to people all season, it wasn’t just one time for two seconds…

If you have a clip of CC following one of her opponents around the court for ten seconds while the clock ran out to try to be seen, please post it I would love to rescind my original statement.

Lord have mercy. If people are getting outraged about this stuff, thank God we do not have players miked up during games.

Checklist following big games on every level in every sport starting in middle school:

1. Complain about refs.

2. The loser says the winner showed poor sportsmanship/ran up the score/disrespected us.

3. The winner declares no one respected us or expected us to win.

4. Social media whining about one or all of the above.

RE: Refs

- I get the technical call on Clark. Given the circumstance and moment, it was still weak.

- And to the above point, how Mulkey didn't get a tech for grabbing a ref was dumb.

LSU won the game because they - a relatively poor shooting team - couldn't miss for a stretch of the game. They built the lead and it was too much to overcome.

Man, you ain't lying. Some people clearly never played competitive sports.

I don't, and even if I did, you likely would still say you didn't like Reese's rebuttal.
