Jay Cobb resigned at Somerset the week before the season started back in 09, due to a dispute with administration. They went 14-1 without him. Scott needs to move on to an interim coach that will put the players first and worry about permanent hire after the season.

    Yep. Folks shouldn’t be so quick to judge. There are things more important than high school football.

    I don't disagree with either of you, but have we gotten an explanation for why Coach Owens resigned yet?

    And for what it’s worth, I’ve heard nothing but great things about Coach Owens, and that he was making a positive impact and had things heading in the right direction.
