Florida 41 Ohio St 14

Featured Replies

What I saw tonight was two great teams who read all of the press clippings and predictions by the "experts". One believed them. One did not.

This game was won at the line of scrimmage. UF's Defensive line manhandled O$U O-line. UF's O-line did not manhandle O$U's but they did keep O$U's defensive line from getting to Leak. This game reminded me of the FSU vs. Oklahoma game where FSU was a 10 point favorite and got whipped by OU's great defensive ends.

Gotta love those linemen.

I love watching games and only watching the line. It's a whole new ballgame.

I agree, I spent most of the night watching 91 and 94 for Florida. Impressive!!! Scary thing is one is a sophomore and one a junior...

IMO that is where games are won or lost.

And the alleged "skill players" get all the pub... :thumb:

I love when two teams do that, lol.

I agree. Their team mates usually let them know they are appreciated so they get some satisfaction from that. They are a different breed.

No doubt!!!

1. Florida

2. LSU

3. Southern Cal

I agree with those three, but does BSU crack the top 5?

Great win for the Gators/SEC

D-FENSE! D-FENSE! D-FENSE!

I'll take my crow...I thought tOSU would win this one, but the Gator D shut them DOWN...Troy Smith was on his back more than he was standing up...

Congrats to the Gators! You earned it. :thumb: :dancingpa :ylsuper:

Should have been 41-7, the Ginn return should have been called back. I'm so glad UF won, nobody gave UF a shot and they were the only team to show up tonight.

Agreed, obvious no call, yet OSU, uses a(pretty intentional)facemask to stop Florida from scoring on there return.

Florida dominated and I loved it. Can't wait to see the fine writing from USA today, of their 10-12 EXPERTS,............ ONE, yeh ONE picked Florida.

Looks like the "O" in OSU stands for.....

OVERRATED!

Tressel is 0-2, having lost to South Carolina in his first year. The other six losses belong to Cooper, against South Carolina, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, and I guess one more than is escaping me. I think all of them were in either the Florida Citrus Bowl or the other bowl that is now called the Outback Bowl.

The one more is the 1978 Sugar Bowl when Bear Bryant's Alabama team beat Woody Hayes Buckeyes something like 34-7. :thumb:
