Can Elizabethtown defeat Ashland Balzer in this rematch of the 2020 3A state championship game?

Ashland Balzer in not the same team that rolled Elizabethtown 2 years ago. Elizabethtown should have the advantage in this one. I'll Take Elizabethtown by 10 in this rematch.

I think Etown takes this one and I agree with you that it will be around a 10 pt spread. Etown came out strong last year and led 28-7 before falling 35-28 behind a disastrous 3rd qtr. The Panthers are much improved this season but the 3.5 hour bus ride could be the equalizer. This is a Saturday kickoff at 5pm.

Although my heart is with the Tomcats by brain says otherwise. I like this Tomcat team. They are extremely young and in a lot of games it's literally men against boys...but...they are competing and getting better each week and continue to show a lot of promise. Truth is they're still a year or two away from competing with the better teams in 3A. A 10 point spread may be generous in this game. I hope they prove me wrong but I'm guessing around 34-14 Etown.

Weather in Ashland tomorrow is supposed to be raining and feel like 43 degrees at kickoff. Sounds like it is going to be a cold mud bowl!
