It's really not that hard.  Every concert or sporting event high school to proffesional for the last 2 years has used digital ticketing.

Are you going to pay for my phone?

If 40th district chose to have it at the Fieldhouse it would be at the Fieldhouse every year. They choose one of their gyms as is their right when it’s their time to choose. 37th exercised the same ri

  • Funny. Holmes has all of those, (great service, tons of food options, easy to get to from most of the 10th...) and people still complaining.

  • 2 scenarios:  1. Buy 4 tickets online for you, your wife and two kids, then all of sudden a family emergency pops up preventing your family from attending. You're out $28. 2. You plan to att

9th region is exactly the same ticket purchase policy at NKU.

Also, Holmes is not NKU. Not as nice. Not as clean. Not a comfortable.

What schools could have hosted it and met the required criteria?

I guess I do not know all the required criteria. But if Holmes meets them all then, surely Newport, Dixie, Ryle, Cooper, Campbell County Middle, and maybe St. Henry meet it.

I don't think Campbell County Middle or St Henry meet criteria for Regionals - District tournament but not Regional

For the record- I'm a cash person also.

They'll be taking cash at the concession stand but not the door - to me that's just CRAZY?

Tickets only available online, $7.00 plus processing fee.  No ticket sales at the door.

It’s like they’re trying to keep people away.

How is this a ticket nuisance?  Every game I have been to in the last 2 years at all kinds of schools is exactly this ticket purchasing.  This includes baseball, softball, basketball and football.  I realize their are a lot of things to complain about with this situation but the tickets is not one of them.  9th region is exactly the same ticket purchase policy at NKU.

It’s a pain.

And I’m not thinking of folks like Parker and Can’tpick who have eleventy billion dollars they can access via debit card.  I’m thinking of the 16 or 17 year old high-schoolers who want to support their team who may not have such resources.

2 scenarios:

1. Buy 4 tickets online for you, your wife and two kids, then all of sudden a family emergency pops up preventing your family from attending. You're out $28.

2. You plan to attend with your wife and two kids, and pay cash at the door, then all of the sudden a family emergency pops up preventing your family from attending. You're out $0.

The funniest thing to me is this: if all these people complaining about this host don’t show up, they’ll drop the 5 year attendance average again… allowing the 37th to choose Holmes in 4 years.

Who is the host school for this year?

If it’s true, Requiring tickets to be purchased on line for a high school basketball game is totally and ridiculously pitiful.  There is no legitimate reason and it’s not that hard to take cash at the door.  Shame on Campbell County, Bishop Brossart, Scott and Calvary Christian. Hopefully someone in charge will have some common sense and empathy before the tournament starts.

It doesn't matter whether they show up or not, that's where it will be.

Just don't see anybody beating GRC in the 10th Region tournament.
