2 scenarios:

1. Buy 4 tickets online for you, your wife and two kids, then all of sudden a family emergency pops up preventing your family from attending. You're out $28.

2. You plan to attend with your wife and two kids, and pay cash at the door, then all of the sudden a family emergency pops up preventing your family from attending. You're out $0.

With GoFans your purchase isn't complete (no money comes out of your account) until you are showing it at the door.  It's really not that difficult

That's awesome. I was unaware of that.

Diane is a fixture at Scott, working through the Ken Mueller (AD) era, and is always prominent at sporting events conducted on campus at Scott High School.

Ironically, she is a member of the 10th Region Hall of Fame.

What is ironic about Ms. Meade being part of the 10th Region Hall of Fame?

Ms. Meade is an awesome person, and we will miss having her around at all the sporting events at Scott. We will especially miss her homemade fudge!

I'm glad you asked. I just assumed I missed something throughout the thread lol

That's cool...didn't know this...thanks!

I don't think that I understand the gripe about it being held at Holmes, a location within Kenton Co where two of the teams from the 37th district are located, and are not big enough to hold it. Last time I checked it's the exact same distance from Montgomery Co. to Covington as it is from Covington to Montgomery Co. If it rotates yearly from district to district then everyone also gets their turn to travel (the 37th have indeed had their share of travellig to the 10th Region Tournament). Even if you had it in the same location every year folks will have to travel. If distance is a big problem in the 10th Region (which it pretty much is) then the only solution would be to one day have the powers that be realign the surrounding regions for it to make more sense.

If 40th district chose to have it at the Fieldhouse it would be at the Fieldhouse every year. They choose one of their gyms as is their right when it’s their time to choose. 37th exercised the same right. People can not like it but to me the system is fair. Let the districts rotate on the choice and if they pick somewhere you don’t like then rage about it on social media and BGP for four weeks while nitpicking every other decision. Win/win? ?‍♂️

Really sad that Scott won’t be there to see her off into retirement at the Regionals.

When will tickets be available on the GOfan site?  I was just on there and it is showing nothing right now for the tournament

Some schools (or maybe it’s all on GoFan??) won’t let you purchase until 24 hours ahead of the game.

Man just left girls regional at Nichols County. Middle of no where, no where to eat, cell phone service spotty. 1 1/2 drive.
Nice gym thou,

Perhaps "Incidentally" would have been a better choice of words.

Nice gym thou,

2 bars of LTE should be required to have Region Tournament.  There is no good way to get to Nicholas County.

And a very few fans showed up for the first night.  The gym wasn't even half full.
