Garyn Jackson with 16 pts 10 assists and 5 steals. Broc Sorgenfrei with 16 points with 4 threes. Connor Weinel with 15 points and 6 boards . Cole Johnson with 11 and Nate Smith with 10. Believe this is the second game the Camels have had 5 guys in double figures. Up next is Calvary on Monday and Ashland on Thursday.- 1 reply

You’re reading way too much into it. Congratulate the man on a great coaching career and don’t try to solve riddles that don’t exist. -
Camels wrap up the regular season with a win over the Tigers. Beechwood has Highlands on Friday.

10th Region Tournament Draw
MorganRaider replied to Randy Parker's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
If 40th district chose to have it at the Fieldhouse it would be at the Fieldhouse every year. They choose one of their gyms as is their right when it’s their time to choose. 37th exercised the same right. People can not like it but to me the system is fair. Let the districts rotate on the choice and if they pick somewhere you don’t like then rage about it on social media and BGP for four weeks while nitpicking every other decision. Win/win? 🤷♂️ -
10th Region Tournament at Holmes?
MorganRaider replied to brooksville's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Why is ok for the 37th district teams to drive 2 hours but not ok for the 40th district? Maybe the 40th district can call Julian Tackett and request to go to the Eleventh or Sixteenth? The issue isn’t the Fieldhouse or even the 39th district and Mason Co I’d assume. A lot of traditionalists in the 10th need to accept the 37th is a part of the region. I know a lot hate it but it’s been almost 25 years now. My word. If it’s their year to choose where to host the region, let them do it. -

Will there be high school football this fall?

Kentucky I believe has the least amount of cases compared with state’s bordering it besides West Virginia. There have been 0 cases traced back to football workouts. If you take football out of the equation, and this maybe shocking news, but kids will still hang out with each other and do kid things. Those things will be more dangerous to the spread than any football practice or game. I always try to see both sides of the issue but for the life of me I can’t see any reason to postpone football anymore than it already is when looking at it logically. The logistics of a spring move for schools would be a mess. I don’t see how that’s feasible. Kids have done what they’ve been asked. There haven’t been any traced back to those workouts. Let’s play. -
The KHSAA Board of Controls is meeting Thursday. What should they decide on summer basketball? I can’t imagine there being summer games between teams even in July but will they open up the option for schools to hold small group workouts? Would that be advisable? I’m interested to see what answers the KHSAA comes out with as the dead period ends. Not an easy position to be in to make that decision. I would think a small group (1 to a goal?) would be doable with social distance guidelines even now but I’m sure there are aspects I’m overlooking.

If Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana can figure it out I’d hope Kentucky could in a safe way. If we can have 50 people in bars by June 29th football should be doable. -
Past Boys Sweet 16 on Youtube
MorganRaider replied to MorganRaider's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Odd time for them to be monetizing that or setting them to private. -
Anyone know what happened to all the past games on KHSAA Youtube account? They were on there two weeks ago. Every video from their account is set to private. Would have been a good way to pass the time when everything is shut down.

I’m saying they are capable of good games against good teams in response to your fluke comment. You’re not going to reframe my argument for me...that’s all I was saying. -

Haha. Man, you can’t say “I’m not taking anything away from Campbell Co.” then immediately say their effort was a fluke. That’s like the old “with all due respect...” Campbell is tough at home. Played Covington Catholic to a close game (yes, they lost) but it’s not like they are a bad team. They’ve been fighting through a ton of illness...come through, play hard, get a big win...and “fluke”. How dismissive. That’s a shame. -

It picks back up on January 18th. Some games are at Highlands and the SHAC I believe. Opening round games were played a couple of weeks ago. -
Campbell County 70 Dixie Heights 64

Camels were down 10 at one point in the first half. A lot of guys came up big late in the game. Jordan Gross had 25 points, 10 boards, and 6 assists. Dixie’s Ian Snelling was impressive with 17 points. -
How good is the kid from Florida that moved to Mt. Sterling?

Dunbar assistant under Coach Chalk and assistant at GRC the last two years. A very strong hire in my opinion. -

Why would you assume he didn’t let the players know before hand? No one knows exactly how it went down and in what manner. To say anything definitive to the detriment of Coach Belcher’s character is grossly unfair to a coach who is extremely classy. Forgive me for straying off topic as I know this should be about the open position at Pendleton County.
