Money. I suspect this was a three team deal. It wouldn’t surprise me if Austin Peay comes to Rupp next year and perhaps UK plays them in Nashville in the future.

I'm probably stepping too far out right here, but sometimes other sports get involved in this as well. Scratch the back for basketball and we'll host you in a buy-game for football. A school like Austin Peay would make a whole lot more money playing a road football game at Kentucky than an home game with Western Kentucky.
