Could be a good game. If Cov Cath plays like last week or better they likely win convincingly.

So you're not a Cov Cath fan. Cool. That doesn't do much for me explaining why Conner winning is "a win for NKY" or whatever nonsense it was that you said.

So is Conner winning a win for "all public schools?"  While I may not agree with some things some schools do or do not do I certainly can't bring myself to hate any high school.  These are kids after all and I really need to save my hatred for certain college teams and MLB teams ?.  Now I may actually root for Cov Cath just because of your post.  Plus I hate driving anywhere in Boone County so I may carry that over to the teams from Boone County.

Let me help you out here. The best thing for NKY football is to have ANY team advance as far as possible in the KHSAA football playoffs. By doing so, attention is drawn to all of NKY and allows for other parts of the state to understand that we have quality football in the area. This allows for exposure for programs, and most importantly the players of all programs, to other parts of the state and colleges and universities.

Not really true. People already know Covcath is a top team across the state. Them making a run wouldn’t bring more attention, since they are a team people usually expect to see. Seeing other teams outside of a Beechwood, NCC, Covcath, Highlands, make a run would bring more exposure than those teams. Since people are so use to already seeing those teams. Seeing other teams besides the normal four mention making a run would be better for the exposure of NKY than just seeing the same teams always. I think if Conner knocked off Covcath, that would bring more exposure to the quality of NKU football than Covcath winning again. 
 

With that said, it’s not those teams fault that they are the ones who win and make runs. It’s up to the other teams in NKY to knock them off.

I’ll bite. What brings more/better exposure?Conner upsetting CovCath and advancing a round to get running clocked in the 3rd round? Or CovCath returning to the regional finals and competing. 
I’m not saying Conner has 0 chance of advancing past 3rd round, for all we know, CovCath could also get running clocked next week assuming they win this week. But as a hypothetical, curious on your thought of if just making it to the game allows for exposure, or having to make it to the game and actually being competitive.

I think the answer to that is it depends, I thought I read they are doing the bracket by RPIs after districts, so It depends on the final 8 and what those RPI's are and rank 1 v 8, 2 v 7, etc, etc.....
