Monroe is a traditional solid program not exactly championship caliber but fielded good competitive 3 round of the playoffs type teams for years and the last 3 or 4 years has probably been the worst of the history of the team. Hopefully they will get things turned around and become a formidable team again.

This is one of those,  not exactly sure what to expect kind of teams. They return some pretty talented kids, but also lost a large senior class. I’d expect them to be very good at the skill positions, but worse in the trenches. Should be a competitive district for them.
