Looked to me like Washington had decided to be the hero with 15.9 seconds remaining. Also made a couple of bad decisions in OT. Props to ORU. Best team in today's game won.

I feel like we see this pretty often and it drives me absolutely nuts. Kids want to be on SportsCenter hitting a step back jumper to win the game. It’s a tie game and you’ve got the last possession. A lot has to go wrong for that shot to be your best option. Drive the ball to the lane for a higher percentage shot or a chance for free throws.

To be fair Ohio State drove the ball to the hoop in the final seconds and didn’t get a shot off multiple times this season. I’m just glad they got a shot off this time.

One last interesting fact that both Big 10 teams who have lost actually got to play in a gym they played in this season however they also both lost to Purdue in those games as well. I started looking a little closer at this and in the last 2 days 5 of the 9 Big 10 teams have played and interesting that with all of the facilities they are using in and around Indy 3 of the 5 schools have got to play at Purdue. Of course Purdue could not so that means only Illinois is the only one to play so far that has not played at Mackey Arena. I just thought that was kind of interesting.
