How is Sphire going to manage the logistics hurdle? When is he moving to northern Kentucky? Is he stuck in Georgia till the end of the school year?  If he is in Georgia till the end of the year what is going to happen from now until he gets here with off season for the Bluebirds?

I saw sports reporter on local TV after interviewing him said that Bob plans on finishing up some things in GA and he plans on getting up here in March sometime....based on that reporting if true we are just fine. As @Sweeperboy would say, just relax its all good.

Bob is here March 1st...ish Wife and Son have to finish the School year out. 

Its like the calm before the storm right now. The blue smoke has dissipated from the air and stacks. March 1st will soon be here and everyone better be ready!

From what I have gathered, this man means serious business and came as highly recommended as a coach could be. 

He is coming to Ft Thomas to lead a campaign to reclaim something that has been missing for some time now. 

Bob Sphire is a heck of a football coach. Highlands absolutely nailed this hire, and actually should send Eddie James a thank you card. No offense to coach James but Sphire is a proven winner in GA & KY. 

Come next August 1or so, can you imagine the excitement and anticipation for the Bluebirds' upcoming season?   It would be fun to be part of that if you're a Highlands fan.

Ft. Thomas has two PE teaching positions open.  The middle school job is PE/Health for 2021-22.  The high school job is PE/Health & Counseling and will begin on March 1st.  Bob Sphire has both a PE/Health certificate and School Counseling certificate.

Any school system could have done that.  It just makes it easier when the coach has a Rank 1 in education.

Any news on Coach Sphire’s staff? I’d love to see some guys like Kris Nevels, Dave Bibb, Kevin Siple, and John Murray be added to the staff in some way. I also think there is some really good in the remaining guys who were on the previous staff. Guys like Scott Turner, Mike Welch, Zach Deaton, Brady Dowling, Gary Schrader, and Jim Dierig.

I have no idea. Hence why I asked the question. I would assume that the guys from the previous staff have applied so long that they want to keep coaching. The other guys are just people I think would be beneficial to the program.
