    Already seeing the telltale holes in my yard. Don't know if these are early escapees or an animal has extricated a cicada snack.

    Ditto. Was mowing the lawn and felt bumpy, crunchy ground under foot. It looked like a bunch of cicada holes.

    I saw several on my cicada patrol on Saturday. The holes are everywhere. Should be any day now.
