A warm rain will trigger their emergence, experts said, and they’ll slowly begin to overtake the area in the days after.

They went on to say the Cicadas will be mostly gone by mid July.

 I heard Dr. Kritsky on the radio. He said look for a soaking rain followed by 2 days of 80ﾟ temperature and you should start seeing them.
