St. Xavier vs. Boyle County (Predictions/Updates)

Featured Replies

St. X (4-0) hosts Boyle County (2-0) at 4:30. Both teams played yesterday with St. X defeating East Jessamine and Boyle County defeating Garrard County. I assume Bellarmine committ Ayden Mudd will still be out with injury, so if Boyle County has size down low that could give St.X some problems. Who wins?

This game should be a dandy featuring two quality basketball teams.

  • I think Boyle is still without one of their key players, Owen Barnes.

With Trinity looming on Tuesday, I suspect Mudd sits this game out to be fully recovered.  This could be a game Boyle County wins if they can contain Ben Varga.

I think for St. X it will come down the John Carrol and Ben Varga. Get a good game from those two they’ll be in good shape. I’ll go with the Tigers 61-56.
