Male (6-1) advanced by defeating Bullitt East 57-7 and McCracken County (6-2) advanced by defeating Apollo 21-13 and Henderson County having to cancel. Male since playing Trinity at the beginning of the season hasn't been tested with Fern Creek the best team they've beaten, but they have won by big margins like a top team should do. McCracken County played Bowling Green which is a comparable team to Male and lost by 16 points. Male will attack McCracken County with their top RB Jaylin Bross who has 747 yds and 14 td and top WR Vincel Anthony who has 347 yds and 5 td. McCracken County will attack Male with 6A #2 RB Hunter Bradley who 1081 yds and 13 td. Male is #1 in 6A in scoring at 47.7 ppg while McCracken County is #4 at 35.3 ppg. On defense, Male is #4 in scoring defense at 10.9 ppg while McCracken County is #7 at 16 ppg. Can McCracken County pull the upset or does Male roll into the semi finals?

I think McCracken Co gets the upset 21-20.

I like McCracken County, but this is a bad spot for them.  But they need to use this to begin to learn what it takes to challenge Jefferson County teams.  I just think Male is at another level.  But this has been a good season for McCracken.

Male with a running clock. If McCracken was playing like they did the first month of the season, I'd say they'd make it look a lot better than it probably will end up. 

That's odd as well for McCracken. They have historically started slow and ended up better as the season progressed. They seemed to have stepped back slightly late this season. 

Good chance Male will just be too much for McCraken in the second half. I'll take Male 38-13.

Calpreps does great work but they sometimes overvalue 6A teams as whole. The reality is 6A county is much different than 6A Big Four Louisville.
