This is already being done. Been occurring for years. I was part of a program 15 years ago that rewarded lower premiums if you do X, Y, and Z (eg. not smoke, gym membership, lower BMI, etc.). I assume that has been around 2-3 decades.

Been a part of our health insurance for at least a decade.

Insurance premiums are higher for people that smoke at a lot of places. 

And for people who are considered obese. BMI is a important part in setting rates for life insurance policies. Back in my younger days, when I was still a heavy weightlifter, I was technically obese, even though I was less than 10% body fat. I had to get a "key man" policy for a small business I was running for investors, and I had to jump through all kinds of hoops to try get a lower rate, simply because a chart said I was obese. I had a 31 inch waist, but they never did budge off of me being considered obese by the BMI chart.

Many employers (especially in health care) already require it, and nobody says a word.

Should someone be charged a higher insurance premium for refusing the flu shot each year?  Should those same "someones" be refused entry into some places like they are for refusing their COVID booster shots?

I wonder if it needs to be reevaluated and the cost should go up.  What’s the going rate on open heart surgery vs. CV19?

I have watched a couple of news reports where people needing organ transplants in America are being taken off the transplant list because they refuse to get vaccinated and very young children needing medical treatment in Australia were denied the best medical treatment available because of the draconian lockdowns.

Only obese people have open heart surgery? That’s news to me.
