It’s amazing how much freedom we will give up, depending on the day of the week and who’s calling the shots.  I just hope people realize it doesn’t come back.  I get it though, historically, I’m on an island in terms of the small percentage of people who resisted control, it’s never popular.  Do what they say and you can resume being comfortable.  We’re pretty far removed from “just 15 days to slow the spread.”  In November, I’ll only need 1 more booster.

I’m on an island in terms of the small percentage of people who resisted control as well.  I feel your pain.

Delta just announced they are raising insurance premiums by $200 a month on unvaccinated people.  Will they also raise premiums on obese people who take up twice the amount of hospital beds as CV19 patients?  Nobody, is forcing anything on you…

Insurance premiums are higher for people that smoke at a lot of places.

If an overweight person has direct orders from a doctor on how to improve their health and they don't, then yes, I'd be fine with that as well. 

If I have a bunch of wrecks, my car insurance is higher than someone who doesn't... We rebel against that too?

 

Do we not care that smokers pay more for insurance?

Anyone’s obesity cost others more and takes up hospital beds.  A large portion of the CV19 deaths are obese.  I don’t know you and your weight, I’m speaking in generalities.  If today were docking people $200 more for not getting a vaccine, does tomorrow mean we dock people more with a BMI over 30?  Like I said, this is a slippery slope if you really think about it.

Not really.  When obesity becomes an airborne, contagious virus then you’ll have a point.
