June 2, 20206 yr A real, true pop-tart connoisseur knows there are 2 distinct type of cherry pop tarts. The first kind is the most common, an average amount of red sugar sprinkles on the frosting. These ones are contenders with BSC and S’mores for me. The less common cherry pop tart is completed loaded down with those red sugar sprinkles and are hands down the best pop tarts. You never know which cherry pop tarts you’ll get until you open the package, but waking up in the middle of the night hungry and opening the pantry and opening that package of the perfect cherry pop tart was one of my favorite simple pleasures of my adolescence.

June 2, 20206 yr I think that is due in large part to the fact that they are the most common flavors sold in convenience stores. They are the most common because they out sell everything else combined in grocery stores. Convenient stores only sell the top selling skus, they don't waste space on slow sellers.
