SouthernSportsFan
Danville is also in the 12th, but have yet to play a game. They're not on the "standings" sheet on the scoreboard so I have no stats for them. So the 12th Region has 17 teams... do all regions?
hector
Thanks SSF for this info. However to compare teams this early in the season on winning margin may be misleading. McCreary is 1st and Casey Co is 11th. I would say these two teams would play about evenly. It just goes to show the balance in the 12th this year. inmyopinion
I agree with hector, the 12th appears to be very balanced this year. It looks like anyone could win on any given night. Have there been any "blowouts" in 12th vs 12th games?

The regions are much more balanced after the realignment last year. Region 1- 17 teams 2- 16 3- 16 4- 16 5- 17 6- 20 (Jefferson County area) 7- 17 (Jefferson County) 8- 16 9- 19 (northern Kentucky) 10- 17 11- 17 12- 17 13- 19 (three Harlan County schools included that are closing in two years) 14- 17 15- 17 16-
