Very glad I made the trip to Charlotte to see Lynn Bowden's last game! I would suggest everyone read the article from The Athletic about how far he's come as a person and how UK football has transformed his life. It's clear VA Tech was trying to come after him in all the pre-bowl activities all week. If anyone wants to judge him from one incident where you didn't see everything that happened leading up to that, go for it. I'll take him on my team and he will go down as one of the all-time UK fan favorites.

Did Bowden say that his car was vandalized this week as well?

Now that he is officially going pro I hope he can get a good price on repairs in Lexington.

Vandalism is likely covered by his insurance.. I know you knew that, just felt like I needed to say it lol.

With the Florida State loss the ACC is now 4-5 and the PAC-12 is 3-2 in bowl games.

I am flabbergasted that someone/anyone can commit a blatant, criminal offense like that and nothing happens. :idunno:

Has UK ever won two bowl games in the same calendar year or was today the first time that had ever happened?

Good question.

Has UK ever won two bowl games in the same calendar year or was today the first time that had ever happened?

Yes this is the first time it has ever happened.

And I said very clearly that he shouldn’t have and understood the ejection.

Swing and a miss, per usual.

No, you said and I quote: “That ejection was weak.” Yet, here you are a day later taking jabs at Stoops and co. for player conduct. Try again.

That's what I figured. I'm not sure I thought I'd ever see the day where UK beat Penn State in a bowl game and then followed it up with a bowl game victory over a program like Virginia Tech. I think it probably shows my age a little bit but for those of us that watched this program in the 90's until now, it's come a long way.

That's rich coming from a guy who supports a program that hired Bobby Petrino. Twice.

But they've turned the corner now. Higher standards for the Cards from now on!!:lol2:

Someone commented to me that Bowden rushed for more yards than Snell did last year. Don't know if that is true.

Also, and he was in a post-game celebratory mood in Charlotte, that if Bowden had played all year at QB he might have won the Heisman. I will say this: Bud Foster had 30 days to prepare and couldn't stop him.

What’s the rest of the quote say...

Also, you wanna play like you haven’t said the exact same thing about Stoops?

Pretty good right hook. Video is out there on twitter.

That's it? That's what this whole thread is about? That is a big nothing. There has to be more. Please tell me there is more so I didn't waste the last 10 minutes reading about outrage over that.
