Any word on the head coach selection?

It's been rumored that they are going to wait a bit to have a much clearer idea on teaching allocations, which should be coming soon. I believe that most districts use enrollment numbers from the start of the new year to determine allocations.

Back to the topic at hand though, that's an extremely solid schedule from the Eagles. Opening up with Highlands while they're back on the "upswing" is pretty solid.

From the Scott AD:

Quincy Perrin is our leading rusher, who returns. Jackson Hardin, a senior, and Cam Patterson, a sophomore will be the leading receivers. We are anchored on the offensive line by two big four year starters in Jacob Randall and Eric Linton. Quartback will be open and it is a little early to say who it will be.

Defensively Nigel Robinson will be the core of the LBs with sophomore Zach Scheper. Evan Ohmer, Michael Nicolas, and Hunter wade will man the defensive line.

We will be young in the secondary with Philip Gallardo and Jackson Hardin being the two anchors.

I heard today that a fairly talented quarterback from Dixie will be playing for Scott this season. He apparently had an impressive year with the Colonels froshmore team last season. Looking at Dixie's roster from last season, I'm assuming that is Connor Taylor. The highlight reel from Connor's Hudl account didn't look bad at all.
