November 10, 200619 yr Tough loss for UofL. I would have liked to have seen a bunch of local guys in the national title game. I feel bad for them. UK fans should be ashamed of themselves for posting negative stuff about the Cards at this point. Does 59-21 ring a bell? Does Gator Bowl ring a bell? Just kidding, LOL.
November 10, 200619 yr Great ending to a great game. Rutgers defense decided they wanted it more than UofLs offense at the half and the just dominated. Brohm didn't have a chance to get anything going in the 2nd half. UofL is a very good team, and all the Louisville fans, while disappointed, should be extremely proud of this team. They accomplished something IMO that is more important than the NC appearance, they brought national respect to the program and the state of Kentucky as a football state. I just wanna contragulate UofL on what has been so far a great season, and I really do hope they get the BEast BCS bid because I really do believe they are the best team in that conference. Hats off to the Scarlet Knights and Ray Rice. He is an absolute stud.

Judging by how they played in the 2nd half (no offense, no defense) and how far WVU fell after losing to the #5 team, I think so. The coaches (especially) were looking for an excuse to stick it to the Big East. Now they have it.
November 10, 200619 yr I dont see UL dropping out of the Top 10... Agreed. I am thinking somewhere from 8-10. Seven spots seems harsh, but it's possible. Of course, a lot depends on what the other teams in the poll do, as usual.

November 10, 200619 yr As a casual fan of both UK and UL (I attended another school) I am disappointed in the loss. UL having a shot to be in the championship game would be a great positive for Kentucky's image, an image usually negatively portrayed on COPS and other similar programs. Still, the Cards have had an awesome season and all their fans should be VERY proud. :thumb: :thumb:

I was counting on UofL making the Big East respectable by at least making the National Championship game. 2. The Cards are going to take this out on the Bulls next week in the "Pepperoni Palace". Revenge for last year and now this. Bloody Saturday next week. I think I'll watch the MU/OSU game. :sssh:
