November 10, 200619 yr The pressure the Knights got on Brohm was unreal. Seemed like the front line was shoving the o-line back into him the entire second half. The Scarlett Knights were so quick on defense, speed kills. I thought a couple of screen/draws would have helped out tremendously. The O looked very average today.:irked:

November 10, 200619 yr As I was watching the last few minutes I was thinking maybe UL should have let Rice score after they let them down inside the 20, other wise they were never going to get their hands on the ball again. I know the offense hadn't done anything second half but it's just a gamble either way. Without getting their hands on the ball again it was pretty much over at 3 min. to go.
November 10, 200619 yr I'm disappointed.The 'ville was out coached in the 2nd half.The Knights made the adjustments on both defense and offense.I feel sorry for Brohm.Every time he comes off the field his brother was ready to rip his throat out.Even the announcers made a comment that maybe he should be saying something to the offensive line instead of Brian.:irked: Exactly what I was thinking.
November 10, 200619 yr As a longtime UK fan I will play the devil's advocate for UL because I thought of something at the end of the game. I long for the day when an opposing team beats us and storms the field and tears the goalposts down. I know it hurts UL fans at this moment to have lost but that is something to think about; the program has come a long way.
November 10, 200619 yr I went back over things, and thought UL could hold on in a close game at the end because Rutgers would need a few long drives I wasn't sure they could get. I'm also pretty sure I was the only person talking up Rutgers that had actually seen them play... Hey, I've seen them play...they were my Big East pick for my college fantasy league (WVU had been picked)...:thumb: Of course they are the only team I have doing squat (thanks Iowa Hawkeyes)...

The pressure gave Brohm "happy feet" and he would not step up in the pocket and look downfield for his receivers. Rutgers was much better defensively than I thought though.
