I long for the day when an opposing team beats us and storms the field and tears the goalposts down. I know it hurts UL fans at this moment to have lost but that is something to think about; the program has come a long way. :thumb: Hopefully in our lifetime.

November 10, 200619 yr U of L Choked, bad. Horrible 2nd half by the Cards. I don't think they choked, I just think they were out coached, and out played with Rutger's hustle and heart.

UK fans should be ashamed of themselves for posting negative stuff about the Cards at this point. Does 59-21 ring a bell? I honestly don't think UL is as good now as they were then. It hurts not having Bush, but this team has looked different the last few weeks. It's a shame though.
November 10, 200619 yr What a great game. UL just had no answer for Rutger's intensity in the second half. Any ideas on what this might do to the BCS picture besides make it very, very cloudy? Personally(and with quite a bit of bias:p ), I don't know how you can keep a 1 loss Michigan or tO$U out of the National Championship IF the regular season matchup is a close game. Tough break for the 'Cards, guess I can go back to telling my UL buddies about how they'll always be a second rate program.

I agree...There should really only be two times a year when UofL & UK fans go at it. Once during football season and the other during the winter months.

November 10, 200619 yr The pressure gave Brohm "happy feet" and he would not step up in the pocket and look downfield for his receivers. Rutgers was much better defensively than I thought though. Brohm was stepping up in the pocket the entire second half!!! As soon as he did step up he got nailed or had to throw it away or scramble for what little yards he could get against that speed that Rutgers has.
