Seems like anyone can beat anyone at this point. It just comes down to who’s peaking at the right time.

With everything that’s happened, I believe that it’s a little more clear, but I’d say that the top five are more than capable of beating each other.

 

My current top five would be:

1A) Covington Catholic

1B) Frederick Douglass

3) Louisville St Xavier

4) Male

5) South Warren

 

St Xavier is by far the most improved since early in the season and I believe that South Warren has clearly made its establishment as a top five of the state. Seeing games between all of these teams would be must see football regardless of who played one another.

I would think until a team puts the Rocks to rest for this season they have to still be in the conversation. Say what you will but counting them out might be just a bit premature.

I think that the most interesting question now is who is 6-10? This is more challenging, but I’ll take a poke.
