I think CovCath, Male, and Scott County are definitely on the list. Then it becomes what are the criteria? Trinity, Frederick Douglass, and Boyle would all be in the running for the last couple of spots.

I feel like Boyle County and Frederick Douglass are almost interchangeable.

I believe that it could probably go either way between Male and Covington Catholic, maybe the same with Scott County and Frederick Douglass. It’s hard to rank Trinity in the top five now, but it’s hard not to with their schedule. If Trinity wasn’t fifth, I’d give it to South Warren or Boyle County.

Best athlete in the state? There is a argument for that. Wright is a great player but they are more than just him. CAL has a great team that has a ton of potential to win state.

 

Best defense? There is none better than Male. Covington Catholic has a better defense as well. That's just two off the top of my head.
