Kansas State 61 Kentucky 58

I love having Cal as UK coach, but his coaching, or lack of it, in the last minute of games leaves a lot to be desired.

No timeout (again) on the play where Green puts up a rushed three.

That last play, well, was it even a play? What was that?

If anyone has a referee gripe it’s KState. 51 total fouls called but gift wrapped for UK. Washington is going to be banging his head for a long time. Absolutely pathetic FT shoiting

Free throws and turnovers.

And what was that last play?

Well, can’t say I didn’t see this coming, I picked UK with my heart, but I believed the Real UK would eventually show up.

The real UK has been the last 10 games. The real UK as you say gets blown out in this type of game back in January. They lost today due to K state shooting better than normal and Washington not being able to make free throws.

Loyola will go to the Final Four. K State will shoot 20 percent the next game.

Based on what I’ve watched so far, I believe that Loyola will win.

With the seeding I didn't expect them to get this far. Then with all the upsets and the door looking to be open to make the final 4. Agree this is a lose hard to take.

Hats off to K State. 3 players fouled out , tallest player on floor 6'4, they deserved to win.

UK had every advantage in the game, came out flat and got punked by a bad team. Weber’s team came out aggressive, playing like their season was on the line.

Well that sucked. A few people said this team reverted back to the Jan and Feb. Team I disagree. The team back then gets blown out in this type of game with the pressure, fouls, and K state hitting threes. At the end of the day this game came down to two things. K state shot better than normal and Washington not being able to make free throws.
Agreed, great post.

No, your rose colored glasses finally caught up with you.

I thought the Cats played hard just not very smart. One way to look at it I think I'd rather lose tonight than get to the Championship and lose to Duke. lol

Idk why but I feel like this team wins if we play that game on Tuesday coming off a strong weekend.

So much went wrong in this game and they still had a chance in the end. Sucks.

Looked like they tried to get a play to Knox and K state shut it down. So Alexander had to force a shot.

Washington will get a lot of the blame, but the kid played hard and just didn’t have it at the line. Kid can play on my team anytime.

Diallo and Green once again were no shows, as they were half the year and in many of the games the Cats lost.

Not sure what that last play design was, I hope that was not the designed play.
