October 15, 200619 yr I forgot Ginty on my list. On the bright side I thought Brooks looked pretty good for not having much game experience. I thought Brooks played pretty well also... I think he will be a good mlb for years to come. :thumb:

October 16, 200619 yr The defender did drive the QB into the ground head first!! That's not what is in question, to me anyways did he rough the passer is what is in question. The defender was just making a tackle is what I saw but the offical must have thought that he didn't have to drive him into the ground. Watch the replay again, THE DEFENDER did not drive his head into the ground head first, you can see the QB kind of just curl up and put his head down while he was going to the ground. If he didn't do that he would have never hit his head...
October 16, 200619 yr Ok first off I still mad about this game, and a few of the calls by the officials in the game. I will say that they got the TD call at the end of the game right unfortunately...How this was just a real bad loss for the bengals. First of all we just need to get healthy, and secondly I would just like to see this team start playing more aggresively on both offense and defense. The offense has not been to conservitive or anything but it just seems to me that they could open it up alot more. And on defense we need to blitz more or something, they had a rookie QB and we didn't put pressure on him all day long. I know he had a few good scrambles to get away, but for the most part we gave him all day long and you shouldn't give a rookie that time. You should make him have to make quick decisions... This loss just really hurts, and I hope we dont end up being this year Chargers and not making the playoffs because of the schedule. This is a game we had to win going into this tough stretch of games we got...Hopefully sunday gets here quick and we can beat the Panthers and have everything right again...GO BENGALS WHO DEY!!!

October 16, 200619 yr Seriously... As far as the Roughing the Passer call... I can see how you guys could view it as a bad call the way it happened. However, if Simeon Rice drove Carson's head into the ground like that, Bengal Nation would be all up in arms if it wasn't called. There is no way you can make me believe otherwise. As a Buc fan, the ref made the correct call. Some of you have a problem with the reversal on the touchdown. The guys in the booth called for the reversal before the refs announced the play was under review. They saw how Clayton caught the ball, planted his feet, and extended the ball with two hands over the goal line (a football move) before the ground forced it to pop out. I like Pewter Pirates better than Bengal Tigers, so I like the reversal. The Official Ruling Sorry guys, but I'm a happy man right at this moment. :dancingpa
October 16, 200619 yr I would not have said a word if Carson got TACKLED in a football game. God forbid his head hit the ground. I didnt know you had to plan on how to tackle now without making a QB's head hit. And as for the TD it was a TD bottom line.

October 16, 200619 yr Did Chris Simms lose his job finally? Yes I like this other quarter back much better he can move around in the pocket better and isnt afraid to run when he needs to.
