Let them play in the AFC East, and they are a playoff team either way. Put NE in the AFC North, and it's likely they are right next to the Bengals. I've tried to make this clear from the moment last season ended, and maybe now people are catching on. Every team in the AFC North has a brutal schedule, and all will have to survive some ups and downs. Rant and rave about Thurman and Henry all you want, it's not the two of them hurting this team (unless they can play OL)...

I agree that the OL is a huge part of the problem, but there is little doubt that the loss of Henry and Thurman hurt the Bengals. Maybe not equilivant to Braham and Levi, but it does hurt. It gives them one less weapon that might overcome the loss of the OL.

 

BTW, the Bengals division is not looking as brutal as it was 2 weeks ago. Cleveland is terrible. The Ravens are strong on defense but the offense is struggling. 3 weeks ago the Bengals was being talked about as top 5 in the NFL and they don't look anywhere like that yesterday. The Steelers were written off and would still have a huge uphill climb except for the failures of the Ravens/Bengals.

And you'd be wrong. As has been pointed out, Carson took a similar hit in JAX last year, and there wasn't a word. Have you heard one analyst say it was a good call? I know I haven't. It was a tackle, and that's the game...

When did you see me complain. It was a bad call. It did not cost them the game nearly as much as their own poor play. Answer me this? Why is it the topic of discusion for the game on NBC, ESPN and NFLN? Why has there been no opinions siding with the call? Don't you find that a bit odd? Is it magnified because of when it happened? No doubt. The Geathers play was just as weak, but it wasn't at a crucial point in the game. If you're going to come in and fan the flames, expect a bigger fire...

Because it was a huge call(terrible call) that cost a team a win. There is a reason why they review questionable plays with under 2:00 minutes to play. I think flags should be added to this rule also.

You can not question a "judgement" call, there is no way to do it. Besides the referee that called the penalty would have been the reviewer, what decision do you think he would've made?

Levi will not play this week against Carolina. I think he is having his knee scoped but not for sure, but its been said that he is a no go this week.

He could have reviewed his judgement call that he originally saw for half a second, from different camera angles. He would have had to be a man for the second time that day and pick up his flag like he did earlier in the game. The guys upstairs could have seen this was a bad call and made him review it again.

 

Granted one call doesnt cost them a game, but a call like this does not help a team that played pretty bad on the road and still put themselves in a position to win the game,(sack and fumble recovery with 2 minutes to play)

No, it was just a bad break that he got his hand on it, but one of those plays that afterwards you just know how the game is gonna end...

Why don't we review every play from home and have polls where we can go online and click catch or no catch, flag or no flag, etc?
