October 18, 200619 yr No one said the sky is falling. We have one of the best QB's in the league and a top 3 OL when its healthy. We have a great WR's corp. As soon as we get some people back from injuries and suspensions(Henry) we will start to be more constant. Unless more people get arrested and more people get hurt. It seems the thing to do is get injured. Braham, Jones, Perry, Perry, Pollack, Jackson The Bengals are good when healthy, but when they aren't Tampa Bay on the road is a tough game.

I am looking for an excuse as to why Justin Smith was called for roughing the passer. There are only two. The ref was rooting for the Bucs which obviously isn't the case, or he was horrible and blew the game because of his badness.

Maybe you just dont get it, because I said they shouldn't have put themselves in that position, they should have made plays earlier in the game, or even on the goal line there at the end of the game to win it. But even though they should have made other plays in the game to not have been in that position, they still were going to end up winning the game, until that play happened. So the end result of it, is that play ended up costing them the game....

Of coarse no coach is just going to come out and say yeah that play lost us the game. But I bet in most cases these coaches in the back of the mind know that like a play like that did cost them the game even if they dont come out and say it, and you know this...

The problem is, they should have never been in that situation against Tampa Bay. The Bengals have a lot of problems to fix. They have only themselves to blame, IMO. The fact that they lost isn't as disturbing as the way they're playing this year. The Bengals will be watching the playoffs this year if they don't get it together soon.

Why did the play where Chad Johnson got tackled on the 51 yard play, not cost them the game? Why when Carson got sacked on that last drive, and they had to use a timeout, not cost them the game? Exactly.. :sssh: Once again yeah they shouldn't have been in that position where the ref could cost them the game, but the fact is that they still were going to win the game until that penalty. So yes that play did end up costing them the game...:bunny:
