Yes the penalty call was bad, but I refuse to lay the loss on it. They played uninspired, dumb football. So much for Marvin having two weeks to prepare...

You called it. That ref knew he made a mistake, he could have very easily picked up that flag. Not man enough to do it though, thats a shame because he directly affected the out come of the game. That is sacrilige especially for the Head Ref on an NFL crew. He should be severly dealt with by the league, but I doubt it happens. If that guy has any pride in what he does he should admit his mistake, but I doubt it happens:mad:

I'm sorry, but as bad as the Bengals played, I still have to lay the loss on that call. The Bengals recover the fumble on that play, and the Bucs are done.

Agreed. The Bengals D bent most of the day but didn't break until after the game would have been clinched.

Was it a fumble or was he down first? I don't recall.

I saw a couple of bean bags, so I have to assume it would have been ruled a fumble.

Sure did...

Where?

With 6 seconds left....

(A) Graham can't get it there... shouldn't even have been an option

(B) Either Hail Mary or maybe a quick out to get closer.

No chance he gets anything. He called it as its described in the rulebook and its a safety issue. However, I don't agree with his interpretation. He didn't blow the call as in not knowing a rule. IMO he simply saw it wrong.

Where?

I edited it with the jinx. I said the same thing to Italian Stallion...

Did Chris Simms lose his job finally?

He's still hurt.

Some of the worst calls in the game today are on roughing the QB... IMO those happen so fast they should be reviewable.

A lot of mental mistakes today. Including the coaching staff.

The FG was an ugly kick way off to the right but it still landed just shy of the field goal post watch a replay of it. If it was a good straight kick who knows, but I do know that they wouldn't of kicked the FG if they didnt think there was any chance what so ever that he could get it there.

I just couldnt believe that stupid roughing call on J.Smith's sack I didn't remotely see that call at all.

I've heard that somewhere before...

I would be shocked if the Bengals come out of the next 3 games with a winning record. This team needs serious help if they hope to win many more games this season.
