White House freezes social media accounts at EPA

Recommended Posts

Oh, I totally agree and always have. Never thought that Trump and his censoring and authoritarian, my government is going to fix this was a Libertarian way. Libertarians seem to be liking all the intervention of government now. Get ready, he is just starting.

Lol the spin in this thread is hilarious. I don't want most of these agencies to exisit or to be much smaller. But under law of the current government the President has this power.

I just don't know what I'm suppose to be upset about the boss telling his employees what they can do at work?

Again I'm going to ask does anyone on here believe every past adminstration did not control what information came out of the Executive branch ?

I mean are you purposely ignoring history and fact ? Every president in history has the right to do this. You don't think Obama controlled info coming out of the Executive branch.

You are mad I get it but let's use a little reason.

Mad? :lol2: hardly.

Concerned, yes. I am interested to see what information is released once the accounts are unfrozen and Trump's people are in charge.

In reality, we have only had one president whose agencies operated social media accounts, so the history here is Obama.

Badlands National Park doesn't care.

A Rogue National Park Is Tweeting Out Climate Change Facts in Defiance of Donald Trump - TIME

https://apple.news/A3lRpU59TRXyN7VKhZ60-6g

""Today, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is higher than at any time in the last 650,000 years. #climate," the park tweeted on Tuesday."

Accurate. Though the impact of CO2 is not known. CO2 correlates with higher temps. So there is evidence (largely ignored) that CO2 level not a driver but a result. And yes, humans are adding to the CO2 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Every global warming model that was driven by CO2 levels has shown to be completely inaccurate. The Day After Tomorrow was supposed have happened many times over by now.

We are talking history. Tweeting from an offical government twitter account with information is equal to press releases of the past. Do you believe every adminstration in the past did not control those ? Do you not believe the Obama adminstration controled the info on the social media accounts ?

Really? Everything I have read doesn't have a storm like that until the ice melts (2100).

I don't think you are upset at all. I am just surprised you support someone who imposes their will on individuals and their individuality. That is what DJT is doing. I could care less, but I would have thought a libertarian wouldn't like the imposition.

There will not be less government with DJT, there will be more. It will just be all him.

Twitter is instant access. Hardly a press release in a paper. Then proponents or opponents can construct outrage pieces for all to read.

I'm not sure. I will be interested to hear what those people say about their time under Obama in the coming months.

If he tells average citizens what they can and cannot tweet I will be the most angry person on this board. But telling your employee what they can and cannot do at work does not equate authoritarian behavior. It is the normal boss/employee relationship. Show me where it is the Libertarian belief a boss has no right to tell his employee what to do at work.

You are making complelty false comparisons and accusations . I don't know if you purposely are creating false hysteria or you really do not understand the difference.

What is that half Hellcats? What have I said I wanted? Dont quote others and say Jesse. Please tell us what you are referring to.

:lol2: You want Trump to make these companies bring jobs back?

(Hey, I do too, but remember I'm closer to socialist on the dial than you claim to be)

The fact you are acting like you don't know the answer to this question tells me you are purposely being obtuse for the sake of partisanship.

I want Trump to bring jobs back. Now where is the rest of the 50% you say I want? Thats nothing socialist about wanting jobs. Quite the contrary.
