Softball!

Sippin' the bourbon?

Actually it's Fireball! Again Sweeperboy made the Trip.....Did you?

Highlands played hard, but tonight Doss was better.

BIG Congrats to @coachhawk. I was very impressed with Doss. Excellent game plan and put their best players in position to make plays all night. I have not seen CovCath play but know they are good. But this Doss team is very talented but several lineman and skill guys go both ways, but I honestly county see that game being very competitive. Good luck Dragons!

Yep. A lot of seniors just played their last game ever and will have to come on here and see this!

And they will see who wrote the post and just laugh because that's all you can do with it.

Good to meet you tonight! Hope your purples do great the rest of year!

First and foremost, huge congrats to @coachhawk . I am shocked at the outcome, but I'm happy for the kids at Doss to get a win over a truly GREAT program. That is a major pelt for Doss and they should enjoy it.

Birds, ignore all of the adults that are fans / alums, and the ones that are simply jealous haters. HS football is part of your development as men, not a destination, and do not let a tough year define you as a team...or as a man.

I can't like this enough.

And this philosophy is the easy way out imo and we teach our kids that not being your best is okie dookie with all...just

How do we know it wasn't their best? Is it possible we're teaching them to pass the blame elsewhere?

Say what?

What the what?! I'm over here 6 hours behind and I'm just beginning my celebratuon for the Dragons! I can't wait to talk to my daughter in law!

Softball!

I knew it was only a matter of time. :lol2:

If you cut a potato in slices we talking chips...if you smash it it becomes mashed potatoes but if you cook em and simmer em theys good to eat

Here we go..... this should be fun!

I don't think you can convey the recent demise in power at Highlands to the kids alone. This goes to show how important a good head coach and staff is to any high school program. You just can't replace a Dale Mueller and expect to continue the dominance. Tough year for the Birds and what comes in the future depends on the development of a TOP notch staff that can continue to bring in and coach the playmakers to do what they have always done. Don't hang your heads Birds. You are now a part of the norm of Ky football..

What is "now part of the norm?" Curious to hear this one

Birds by 10

Highlands by 21.

Diss doesn't have a quality win, so I expect Highlands to win by 20

I'm certainly not a Highlands' peep, far from it, but I think MANY are kicking dirt on them prematurely. I'll be shocked if this is a game heading into the 4th quarter.

Go Birds.

Highlands 42

Doss 22

Birds by 20

I think it is close at halftime then Highlands pull away in the second half. Highlands 45, Doss 28

Highlands by a lot

rough week for the prediction thread
