Tropical Storm, Hurricane Watch, and Hurricane Warnings. That is why I haven't changed to title of the thread yet. But if you take note of my avatar you can see it flashing from Tropical Storm Alert to Hurricane Warning. If all of the areas along the coast of Florida go to a Hurricane Warning that is when I will change the title.
October 5, 20169 yr Author Quick evening update: I just checked both the European and GFS models. They are both now showing a partial landfall in Florida, in the area I mentioned in an earlier update, then follow up the coast to about the Georgia/Florida state line. Then go off shore again. Then they are back to showing a landfall in South Carolina. Matthew may reach cat. 4 storm status before reaching Florida. That means winds of between 130-156 mph. October 6, 20169 yr Thanks for the info NWO. Brother lives in South Carolina right outside of Charlotte and they're experiencing internet problems. It's interesting because his internet speed is about 20 times faster than my always 50-70.0. He's thinking the storms already impacting it, I think a lot of folks are freaking out about the storm and searching for ideas.
October 6, 20169 yr My oldest Brother moved to West Palm Beach on Christmas Day 2015. He said that just about every building in town has been boarded up. He just moved his boat down there about 2 months ago and has told us that he may potentially lose it. Saying prayers for all the Residents along the Coast.

To warn our members and their families. Experts are now saying that Hurricane Matthew could quite possibly be the worst storm to hit Florida's east coast in recent history. Matthew has increased in strength and will continue to do so. This is the first time it is showing on the HRRR model. This is the model that is to weather predictions like high definition is to television. It shows Hurricane Matthew hugging close to the Florida coast around Miami around 8 pm tonight. The models are showing Matthew hugging the entire east coast of Florida. Thursday 8 pm EDT Friday 6 am EDT Friday 11 am Friday 5 pm Saturday 2 pm
