Yard boy at Sunrise federal bank in HS Worked at GGGrimm and sons Than I started college. From the day I entered college I have never gone without a job not even for a day. Sports Arena about 5 years All About Sports 3 years Zayre/Ames briefly 1 year Super Sports 1 year Hutch sporting goods 5 years Irwin toys less than a year Mattel 20 years My current company is the only one that is still in business!!! August 2, 201610 yr 1 - Summer between Junior and Senior year, Bus Boy at Ellis Park in the Clubhouse restaurant - for the summer 2 - Summer after I graduated, temp at Ragu in Owensboro waiting to start at Ellis - 1 week (worse job ever) 3 - Bus Boy at Ellis again - only couple of weeks 4 - Sales associate at Wal-Mart - 1 year 5 - Delivery/Warehouse at a furniture store - about 3 years 6 - Current company - 19 1/2 years
August 2, 201610 yr As a kid I mowed several yards in the neighborhood each week (Also worked for hay and tobacco farmers) 30 years at Walmart (started at the bottom and ended up managing a Supercenter, did every job in between except filling prescriptions.)
August 2, 201610 yr From 12-17 ... For planting, topping, and harvesting tobacco for my grandfather, I got a cut of the sales. I also worked baling and putting up hay, wherever I could, during the summer. 17 on ... Pizza Hut in Corbin during my senior year in high school. When going to Morehead State, I was part of the openings of the first Huts in Mt. Sterling and Morehead. Between Morehead and UK, I was employed by the Pizza Hut in Williamsburg, while taking summer classes at Cumberland. I worked at WMOR in Morehead as a weekend morning DJ. It was the only job I was ever fired from. I'll admit I deserved it. Not cut out for on-air work. After Morehead State, I was employed a very short time at WLEX as a cameraman. I also worked at the Fast Mart on Landsdown Dr., when going to UK. Worked for Delco Electronics in Kokomo, Indiana, then ended up at Delco's Oak Creek, Wisconsin plant. After being laid-off for the umteenth time, I accepted an offer as an associate design engineer from Kinex Corporation in Clearwater, Florida. (Kinex later became the cell phone division of Nokia Corporation.) One day, I got a call out of the blue from Techni-Car in Tampa, basically because of my experience with Delco Electronics. They got wind of me from a friend who still worked at Delco. I was hired as the manager of remanufacturing, then relinquished that to take over IT. I've been with them 33 years as of June 1. After USF, I started doing consulting work to supplement the income and have been doing that on and off since. I partnered with a group of programmers to form a company that attempted to create an automated trading program for the foreign exchange market. That dissolved after a few years. Look Mom!!! A resume!!

August 2, 201610 yr First job I had I was 18 years old and it was at the Manhatton Harbor as a dock boy working the gas pumps and launching boats in and out. Second job was at Sherwin Williams during college. Third job was a summer maintenance crew member for the Fort Thomas School system for 3 summers. 4th job was an accounting tutor during my junior and senior year at UK. Current job I'm now 24 and a financial analyst for a company in Cincy and I've been here for about a year and a half.
