August 5, 201610 yr 12 counting the lawncare I'm currently doing tax free. I feel sorry for employers who judge a candidate based on their work history. I know a lot of really smart people who are still figuring out where they want to go in life, but make for exceptional workers in the meantime. I remember in an interview once a VP told me they would not hire me because I worked during college and wasn't focused all on my studies. I remember at the time being shell shocked by that.

August 6, 201610 yr Good catch, I get to be Santa this winter for the Christmas play. I've always wondered if there is video of me as Santa for Christmas In July at Big Bone some 25 or so years ago. Woulda made a great submission for America's Funniest Home Videos when I got my foot caught stepping out of the sled, then proceeded to roll down the hill to the rec shack. Great stuff. I seem to recall me pulling a Freddy Kreuger-type moment in the dressing room before all of that, with a really big knife, where I wished folks a "Merry F-ing Christmas" that went for great laughs with the staff. We were 20 and 21 at the time. No kids were mentally scarred as far as I know.

Security - Amazon warehouse... turrrrrrrible 4. Citi - Mortgage Collections (the absolute WORST) 5. Gold Medal Products - 5 weeks, just couldn't get into it 6. Tom Gill Chevrolet - 6 months before I realized I didn't want to work 1000 hours a week, but I walked away with lots of knowledge especially how it all works when buying :thumb: So if you ever need some assistance, I can provide you with a lot of info on how it operates 7. August 8, 201610 yr Started babysitting at age 10, which I think might be considered too young by today's standards. When I was 15, my mother told me to lie about my age and get a "real job." I said I was 16, and worked at Villiage Inn Pizza in Erlanger through college. I believe everyone should work serving the public at some point in life. I learned a lot about people at that job. Last 38 years I have worked as an RN. I changed jobs 5 times in the first 5 years, but finally found a hospital setting that I loved. Have worked almost every specially area in that hospital over the years.
