August 2, 201610 yr More than I'd care to count, but in the interest of fun and jogging the memory, I'll give it a stab: Mowed lawns in town as a kid, and for my church. Worked a few months at a boat dock in town. My job was to weedeat the hillsides. It was the 1987 cicada summer and it was awful. Those creepy things loved the sound of the weedeater and would just come and sit on me. Ugh. Worked at a wooden pallet factory for a few months before college. Nearly lost a finger a couple times. Worked a couple summers at an auto parts factory during college. Have done a few other short factory stints through temp agencies, and didn't last long. I'm not cut out for factory work. Also did two summers at Big Bone Lick SP working in recreation, lifeguarding and at the gift shop, also during college. Worked at at least a half-dozen convenience stores over the years, and a couple grocery stores. Worked a few months one summer building boats. It was awful. Did some construction for a while as well and hated it. Did door-to-door vacuum cleaner sales for one day. Worked at least a dozen or more different restaurants/bars over the years waiting tables, bartending and doing kitchen work. Worked a couple of tax seasons as a file clerk for the IRS' satellite office in Florence. Saw some very interesting tax returns, and got to see how wonderfully inefficient things were around there. Did five years at Best Buy before going back to get my degree. Also sold cell phones for about two months before realizing that it's kind of hard to sell something you know nothing about. I didn't have a cell phone at the time. Worked in the media for the past 16+ years, with the last nine at my current place. Got back into bartending and waiting tables again a year ago in April and that's where I'm at. It was tough coming out of retirement to do restaurant work again, but I love getting paid to exercise, and I've lost 90 pounds since I started doing it again.

Best around" "Okay could you rate that on a numbered scale where 1 is poor, 5 is excellent or anywhere in between?" "Two I think." "..............thanks. How would you rate Aldi on their produce?"

I worked as a payroll clerk for a trucking company Worked as telemarketer/reservations agent for U-Haul Sold Avon Sold Tupperware Sold Mary Kay Cashier at Winn-Dixie Bookkeeper for a Condo construction company Daycare worker Shuttle driver for an independent company that picked up from hotels and took people to Caesars Server at The Brewery Server at The Louisville Palace's failed attempt at a nice restaurant, Stage Door Johnny's Server at Rubino's/Assistant Mgr of their lunch time lunch cafe Shift Supervisor at Starbucks Administrative Assistant-Hotel Reservationist-Hotel Front Desk Agent-Hotel Front Office Manager-Hotel Sales Manager-Hotel Director of Sales & Catering -Hotel Revenue Manager-Hotel Director of Revenue-Hotel Housing Agent-Convention Bureau Banquet Server Proof reader/editor of college papers Not sure what it was called, but I took x-rays and transferred them to microfiche Medical records filing Title clerk for a used car lot Bartender Accounting clerk for an architect I am probably missing something.
August 2, 201610 yr 1980-1994 my own lawn, landscaping, snow removal business 1989-1992 DHL 1991-1994 US Post Service (mailman in Sharonville) 1994-present Federal Express For all of '91 & '92 my day went 7:00am drive to Sharonville PO work till 5:00, come home check on my workers cutting grass, head to Softball City, Rumpke, Expressway Park for softball, come home and sleep for a couple hours, then head to the Airport to work at DHL at 12:30am, get off at 5:30 shower at DHL grab a bite to eat and then head to Sharonville and do it all over again. I was flush with cash, but never had time to spend it. :lol2: #burningthewickatbothends Had a few part-time jobs from '85-'89 during the fall an winter to hold me over till grass cutting started.
