Having the whiny parent on the committee is a joke. Brad was the perfect guy for Scott and whomever you hire is a downgrade over that guy.

Brad was far from perfect, he knew what he said would land him in hot water, but said it anyways, and has suffered the consequences from that.

IMO, he was the perfect fit for that school. Some of the best players in the recent history of that school needed to be challenged, athletically, academically and socially. Most accepted those challenges and grew from the experience. Some others whined and complained instead of putting in the work it takes to get better and became vindictive. I have no compassion for those folks.

Obviously he wasnt, he committed one of the cardinal no no's.

Absolutely true!!!

Carr, despite his shortcomings ("I am who I am") is still the best possible candidate. It is extremely unlikely they will be able to get a more qualified candidate than Brad Carr himself.

All that those who had a vendetta against Carr accomplished was succeeding in ousting an individual to the detriment of the program.

Hold an election of the candidates among Scott backers and Carr wins hands down. Tragic situation!

Well said.....agree completely.

So the best players at other schools don't need to be pushed athletically, academically and socially?? That is a requirement of any coach at any school. It's not unique to Scott.

Sullivan? From Cooper?

Tim isn't the the basketball coach in the area with that last name.:thumb:

This is true from all I have talked to.

Tell us who each person is that will be on the committee.

Each school has a different challenge. Not every school can be in a perfect community like yours.

What??? Where did I say my Community's school district is perfect?? In case you weren't aware, I live in the Kenton County school district and have two kids who graduated from Scott and one currently attending Scott.

Yes each school has its own unique challenges....some tougher than others. But the 3 things you mentioned I believe are things that I would expect from anyone who accepts a school based coaching position. They are not unique to Scott.

lol.

So very true. Great coach person and man. He just demanded accountability from everyone. Including himself. Huge loss. Mommies and daddies listened to their son instead of making their son step up. Player harder and get better. We all lost by losing coach Carr
