Lloyd can beat Dixie. If Key has scouted them Dixie has been exposed the last 4 games. Don't let Cam shoot and sag in the lane on Bradfield. -

He plays aau. And he plays up in aau .He has had games where he scored 60? I believe against Conner last year. Holmes coaching wanted him to play up. His mother chose for him not to play up. Which for her reasons was correct. -

4pm wcpo news it was a short segment. He's 13 year old 8th grader. He should be in 7 grade. Only played at Holmes during middle school. The true point total is almost 1300. Tez is range when he crosses half court. His twin brother may be the better player in the future. -

Attention middle school official who worked my game today
Basketball12345 replied to PP1's topic in Middle School Sports
I agree. I coach 6th grade my kids get 30 min warm up. If 7 grade game is starting after their start time they get like 5 min. I agree if rule says 3 min overtime that it should be. All that said no one should be on the officials. Let's teach the kids not everything is fair or cut and dry. Play thru the adversities not complain. When u take your mind off just playing hard you stop reaching your potential. -

There's only one winner. Work harder if you want a trophy. My parents cry over play time. Work harder and earn it. -

I have 4 parent ejection 1 season of middle school. My kids are not allowed to talk with refs period. If they ask a question they can answer yes sir no sir period. I never talk with refs I do my job coach with the circumstances I have been dealt. Ref is the boss play by his interpretation of the rule. -

I have been coaching middle school and aau for many years. Most coaches and parents have it all wrong. I have never had any issues with officials it's always the parents. As coaches we are trying to teach kids that there is adversities. Some officials are not very good but they are trying their best. No official is trying to screw a team or a certain player. When I get a bad official I preach to the kids play thru it figure it out overcome. When you start saying the officials suck or is screwing us you are starting to make excuses. That's the problem with the youth today instead of figuring out they make excuses. As long as an official is running and in position I'm good with call good or bad for me. Remember we are trying to raise good human beings by using sports as a tool. Your son is not going to the NBA and if happens to go the bad official is not going to lessen his chances. The suburbanite parents is the most major problem with youth sports stop living your dream thru the kid. Don't harp on the official or the kid bad game. Harp on the good attitude or lack of hustle. The official misses calls and your kid misses free throws and layups. I have coached 1000s of games and never has a call cost me a game. After the game I always ask how free throws how many layups how many times did we lack on defense. -

I agree the kid should play sports from birthday I don't care what grade you are in. Parents way of giving their kid an advantage early on. They all use the academically my child was behind. If you kid is dumb they should spend the time making the grades and catching up. not holding back to be a star for awhile. Delusional parents living their dream thru the kid. -
