Open Job: Scott

He never even applied for the job and interviews will start this week.

I thought it odd that Shannon would apply for a Kenton Co job after the way the district treated him when he was at Summit View.

He did inquire about the job as did many other coaches. He decided against applying.

Over 30,000 views on a thread about a coach opening and they haven't even started interviewing yet? All those people talking about interest in high school basketball being down seem to be wrong, at least when it comes to who the coach will be at Scott High School.

All the experts at work.

He never even applied for the job.

You think you at some important figure up at Scott HS, guess what, you aren't... You have zero insight on who applied or what is even going on... I've seen the list of who applied, who was in consideration, and the select few applicants who the comitee chose to interview...

Not at all. Looks like you're the important figure.

What some are missing is the point a search committee is just bells and whistles. There is one person who makes the call for hiring the head coach. Those of us who know are well aware Minor has applied and openly lobbied for the job. This @TommyGavin is just clueless.

We received many phone calls and emails from him in regard to the job, he never did apply... But I can assure you whether he applied or not that Shannon Minor will not be the next head coach at Scott HS.

Glad Shannon Minor wil be the coach. He was my pick all along. He should do great at Scott.

We all know how much cred you have on here. If he is your pick he is destined to fail.

He is a great coach.

Scott is destine to fail as long as continue to listen to crying moms. Crying moms got the best think at Scott to resign.

He is a great coach.

Better stick to football!

Face it we are getting a politically correct coach. Equal play time and no yelling. Timeouts when little Johnny gets tired.

We all need to stick to the issues and not each other.
