Face it we are getting a politically correct coach. Equal play time and no yelling. Timeouts when little Johnny gets tired.

Don't forget everybody gets a trophy at the end of the season.

True story Scott was scrimmaging a team(Batavia) at SK this year. Carr told half the kids during the game they better have a hair cut by Monday or they wasn't playing. Sounds like Carr was more of a father figure than what these kids have at home.

So making you get a haircut makes someone a father figure? Let's face it the Bob Knight ways of coaching are long gone. There is more individuality these days and the great coaches know how to embrace that while still getting the most out of their players.

I know for a fact he was a great mentor. The kids that help him bring him down will figure it out in time. They will then know how bad their own parents really are cause they are failing to prepare them for real life. My own son is one that got cheated from getting to play high school ball for Brad

He was telling his players in the middle of a game. He was more worried about his kids than what was going on during the game. It means he cares about the kids.

Idk about that, I think the lesson here is being learned in multiple ways. Say what you will about Carr, but he said what he said, he hasnt denied that, and what he said, lead to his firing. How it was reported, is a separate issue, that again, many can learn from.

In the everyday world stuff like this happens daily.
